On The Border has been providing great service in a fun, team environment for over thirty years. We are seeking fun, talented Team Members to join our team! POSITION SUMMARY: Host/Hostesses work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, environment to deliver a fantastic dining experience to our guests. RESPONSIBILITIES: QUALIFICATIONS: - Greets guests in a friendly and inviting manner - Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion - Advise guests of current specials, new menu items, promotions and Club Cantina - Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume times to accurately set guest expectations - Clear, clean and reset tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest - Always sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return - Assists other Team Members as needed or when business needs dictate - Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures - Must be at least 16 years of age - Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner - Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions - Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, s...
