Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Pharmacy at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Pharmacist. The successful candidate will: - Dispense, compound, admix drugs and other pharmaceuticals. - Provide medication counseling and reconciliation. - Review medication orders for safety and efficacy and then approves orders within our CPOE system to main medication profiles. - Review and approve Pyxis profile orders. - Administer oncology, TPN, and investigational drug solutions as needed. - Dispense controlled substances as needed and maintain files. - Participate in drug utilization review studies, QA, and PI programs. - Actively participate in new technologies and operational programs...
