What you will be doing: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our innovative Tech Team leading the entity resolution platform. You will collaborate across functions, engaging in both the design and implementation of high-performance systems crucial for detecting financial risks. ComplyAdvantage has built a financial crime knowledge graph to power our anti money laundering products. We feed this graph with facts extracted from millions of media articles daily, tens of thousands of websites with information about political exposure and thousands of watchlists and sanction lists, and we augment this with additional web crawling to enrich the entities we extract and to add relatives and close associates. This ingestion process generates millions of new entities daily, many of these are the same entities using slightly different naming conventions such as initials vs full name. Entity resolution is tasked with linking all related entities.
