Description CALL FOR A TENURE-TRACK POSITION IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMANITIES (Call HUM-TTPX-2026-9) Purpose of the Call: A tenure-track position is being offered in the Department of Humanities in the field of Contemporary History: Spain and the World throughout the 19th Century. Anticipated Start Date and Initial Contract Duration Anticipated Start: September 2026 Contract Duration: 5 years Salary: 45,640.76 Euros per year This salary is subject to annual increases. This amount is justified by the duties corresponding to the Distinguished Investigator position and contract (2023 Science Law, Article 23). Among other functions, the management of competitive research projects (with external funding to UPF) and/or the direction of the Department of Humanities' sectoral programs for research promotion and knowledge transfer promotion at UPF.
