Job description

Job Purpose Oversee the plant controller function, driving plant-level financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across manufacturing. Ensure the overall financial health of the plants, including budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis. Partner closely with Plant Operations to support decision-making and drive cost optimization, while ensuring financial discipline and transparency. Essential Functions: - Lead and mentor team of plant controllers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement - Develop and communicate policies for accounting processes in partnership with Plant Operations - Lead the review and approval of journal entries and month-end activities - Lead the review of month-end results and variance analysis - Oversee the coordination/consolidation of reporting - Oversee the coordination/consolidation of AOP, throughputs, and activity rates - Serve as SAP and Activity Rates subject matter expert - Own special projects as requested by Sr. Director of Operations Finance - Ensure coverage for interim Plant Controller responsibilities: - Maintain financial operations at assigned plants - Process SAP month-end procedures to identif...
