Overview The Yard Driver is responsible for maintaining organization and production in the Pittston terminal yard. Shift needed: Wednesday- Saturday 6pm-6am Responsibilities: - Spotting inbound and outbound trailers; - Organize and keep yard free flowing and organized; - Expedite trailers to shop for shop associates; - Ensure sufficicent equipment is savailable for trailer shops; - Must have good communication with other associates; - Provide excellent customer service to Prime driver and shop associates; - Additional work-related tasks as needed. Qualifications: Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities. Knowledge: Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred. Abilities: Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills required. Multitasking and a flexible schedule required. Experience, Education, and Training: A High School diploma or GED is required; one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
