Job Description Full-time, 40 hrs. per week. Monday - Friday. Hours will be between 8:30am - 5:30pm The LPN Medication Privs reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Responsibilities: Description - Collaborates in the collection and assessment of the patient’s problem/condition. - Provide pre-attending care for patients. - Elicit and document the patient’s chief complaint, history and patient needs. - Collaborates on the development, planning and modification of the Registered Nurse’s or Advanced Practice Nurse’s nursing care plan. - Implements aspects of the nursing plan of care as delegated and with demonstrated competencies - Administers vaccines, medications and/or prescribed treatments and procedures as ordered by the provider or delegated by supervising RN. - Administers oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular or intradermal medications as delegated. - Administers medicated baths, respiratory treatments, dermatological treatments or phototherapy as delegated. - Is prohibited from a...
