Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Position Purpose: The Surgery D epartment at Mount Carmel East has 13 operating rooms with 3 of those rooms dedicated to trauma. Surgical specialties include Level II Trauma care, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery (Cranial and Spinal), General Surgery, ENT, GYN, Dental, Plastics, Colorectal, and Robotic Surgery. They average 25 cases per day and care for the adult patient population. The department is staffed 24-7-365 and focuses heavily on work-life balance. This position is for part-time, 24 hours (2 12-hour shifts) plus evening, night, and weekend on call. Previous OR/Inpatient Surgery/Circulator experience is preferred. The Registered Nurse RN, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
