Job description

Summary We’re seeking a Data Engineer with strong Azure and Microsoft Fabric experience to design, build, and optimise modern data platforms. In this role, you’ll develop scalable data pipelines, integrate complex data sources, and enable high‑quality analytics across the organisation. You’ll work closely with architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver secure, reliable, and well‑structured data solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines and ingestion frameworks. - Develop and optimise datasets, dataflows, and Lakehouse structures in Microsoft Fabric. - Implement ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Fabric Data Pipelines, or similar tools. - Build scalable storage and processing solutions using Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse, and Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse. - Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high‑quality models and solutions. - Ensure data security, quality, governance, and compliance with organisational standards. - Troubleshoot data issues, performance bottlenecks, and pipeline failures. - Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous im...
