Position Summary: The Banquet Captain is responsible for overseeing the execution of events to ensure seamless service, high guest satisfaction, and adherence to established standards. This role leads banquet staff, coordinates with the kitchen and management team, and ensures all event details are executed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Event Execution & Service: - Lead and supervise banquet staff during events (servers, bartenders, support staff) - Ensure all event details (timing, setup, service style) are executed according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) - Act as the primary point of contact during events for both staff and hosts - Monitor service quality and step in as needed to maintain standards Staff Leadership: - Conduct pre-shift meetings to review event details, timing, and expectations - Assign roles and sections to s...
