Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future What to Expect: The Health & Safety Specialist is responsible for progressing specific initiatives in safety and health, including new programs, revised programs, emergency response and safety infrastructure, contractor safety, and refinery capital projects. What You’ll Do: - Champion a strong safety culture through visible leadership, motivation, and participation in emergency response and safety committees. - Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace. - Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve them, escalating serious issues as appropriate. - Manage a portfolio of audit assignments. Ensure that the team plans and delivers audits that cover identified risk areas, and that appropriate corrective actions are agreed on with auditees.
