Job description

Must have the ability to analyze and evaluate nursing care to improve quality of care. Coordinate patient care with physicians and anesthesia providers. Must be able to identify and problem solve. Responds to Emergency situations and maintains competency. Analyze clinical documentation to ensure Center policies and procedures are followed. Monitors FTE utilization to promote cost-effective scheduling practices. Shares knowledge gained in continuing education with staff. Prepares clinical staffing schedules in accordance with daily assignments and duties. Ensure staff are cross trained (as appropriate) to provide a productive and efficient work environment. Works with Center Leader to evaluate suggestions, grievances and processes to identify opportunities to improve. Promotes adherence to safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities. Works with Center Leader to implement best practices. Oversee the care, cleaning, high level disinfection, sterilization and required maintenance of instruments, supplies and equipment. Able to identify and report deficiencies in services.
