Amentum is seeking a high performing Project Engineer II to lead the technical execution of Engineering projects supporting our National Security and National Laboratory customers. This is a great position for those looking to transition their career from the Engineering Design track to the Management track, with an affinity for supporting projects that are actively in the Conceptual or Detailed Design phase, as well as projects supporting Procurement and Construction Support activities. As an Amentum Project Engineer , you would be responsible for applying both engineering knowledge, management and leadership skills throughout the full lifecycle of projects. Project Engineers must possess a high aptitude for coordinating multi-disciplinary technical teams through the design evolution process, decoding and spearheading resolution to multi-disciplinary engineering issues in collaboration with other Project Engineers and/or the Project Engineering and Project Manager, while representing the interest of, and providing best value for our customers .
