DSD Coordinator: - Department: Distribution Job Status: Full Time - FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Store Manager - Grade/Level: High School or Equivalent Amount of Travel Required: 10% Work Schedule: Positions Supervised: - M-F 7:30am-4:30pm None POSITION SUMMARY: Manage all aspects of the DSD channel in our stores. Interface with the promotional manager and the convenience coordinator and drive sales and margins in the convenience and conventional chains. Responsible for the entire process through the supply chain. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Grow contribution to net profit via sales or margin increases in specific vendor by vendor categories. Manage costs and retails internally and through IT to retail for all lines. Move a designated number of vendors to the backdoor receiving system each year. Schedule and monitor air or surface pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials. Create a communication vehicle to inform the retail outlets of key initiatives.
