Sr Test Capability Engineer

Job description

You will play a critical role in ensuring long‑term product robustness by driving reliability testing strategies, executing stress and qualification testing, and partnering with cross‑functional teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks early in the product lifecycle. This is a hands‑on, lab‑focused role with strong ownership of test capability, reliability methodology, and continuous improvement. - Develop and sustain optical product test capabilities with a strong focus on reliability and lifetime validation - Define and execute test plans for pluggable optics and optical sub‑assemblies, including environmental, thermal, mechanical, and stress testing - Perform validation testing to assess product robustness, degradation mechanisms, and failure modes - Drive accelerated lifetime and qualification testing activities where applicable - Collaborate with hardware, photonics, firmware, and mechanical teams to influence design‑for‑reliability and testability - Lead failure analysis and root‑cause investigations for reliability, performance, and yield‑related issues - Analyze reliability and test data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for design or process improvement...
