Quality (Assurance) Manager Purpose/Scope: Ensures the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the AS9100/ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System along with other Aluminum Industry Audits. Work with personnel at all levels of the organization to ensure Kaiser Aluminum – Newark meets or exceeds customer expectations. Reports to: Plant Manager: Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and seek continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (AS9100/ISO 9001). - Report on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to Kaiser-Newark Leadership Team. - Ensure that the QMS meets the current AS9100/ISO 9001 requirements and applicable customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements. - Oversee the Kaiser-Newark document and record control. External Audit Responsibilities: Oversee, Schedule, and Perform internal quality audits per specified requirements. - Ensure proper scheduling for annual, regulatory, customer external audits.
