Position Title: Counselor – Behavioral Health (MS Senior Licensed) (Hybrid) Department: Psychiatry Dpt BHS - Suburban Outpt Location: 1701 N. Senate Blvd., Indianapolis, IN 46202 (East Washington Medical Group) Shift: Full-Time, Days (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Position Overview: The Senior Licensed Counselor provides advanced clinical services in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. This role involves individual, group, and family counseling, discharge planning, utilization review, and crisis intervention. The Counselor collaborates with healthcare teams, community agencies, and protective services to ensure patients receive safe, timely, and resource-rich care. The role also includes supervising practicum interns and licensed staff, managing complex cases such as abuse, neglect, guardianship, and high-risk crises. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate patient involvement in treatment, education, and recovery through individual, group, and family counseling.
