Job description

Position Description The role of the Meter Technologist is to contribute to the design/maintenance and refurbishment to metering arrangements through the use of their in-depth knowledge and experience. This role will apply to all LV, MV and HV customer metering including IPP and Demand customer solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the development of metering solutions for large customer connections and lead the development of new connection methodologies for Metering. - Provide Quality Assurance on Metering connections and commissioning of metering. - Ensure ongoing policy compliance for Metering in line with directives from CER/ESBN/EU. - Contribute to the design/review of Metering solutions. - Review technical schematics and documentation for Metering. - Maintain knowledge and specialist skills in metering. - Support the business in troubleshooting issues in complex metering arrangements and develop standardised solutions. - Input and coordinate the Metering Assets risk register. - Develop and build strong business relations with internal and external stakeholders. - Support the development and influence policies and procedures for Metering Assets. - Preparation of standards...
