Position Summary: Put your maintenance and repair skills to good use at Vallen as a Service Technician I focused Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory services in the Vallen Safety Services group! In this position, you will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Conducting service calls. - Identifying equipment discrepancies. - Preparing accurate and timely Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports. - Providing customer service in the area of Inspecting, Testing, Maintenance and Repairs of Life Safety Equipment. Including, but not limited to: Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose, Gas Detection Monitors, Respiratory Equipment, Fall Protection Equipment and Safety Shower / Eyewash Units. - Responsible for providing the testing and repair documentation and ensuring it is filled out accurately, completely and turned in for proper invoicing. - Responsible for ensuring the customer has all required copies of all required documentation upon servicing equipment. - Basic knowledge of regulatory standards pertaining to assigned duties, i.e., State, OSHA, and NFPA regulations, N...
