Job description

Landman Title will be determined by respective level of experience. The Landman will be responsible for acquisition and maintenance of Utica Shale properties as well as negotiations, maintenance, and interpretation of various agreements, leases and contracts. This person will plan, direct and supply land knowledge, leadership and consultation to other co-workers as needed. Primary Duties & Responsibilities - Provide Land support to assigned area of responsibility, working with technical peers and other departments in support of company’s development program - Review, edit and/or negotiate land related documents such as oil and gas leases, amendments, assignments, joint operating agreements, trade agreements, farmout agreements, pooling agreements, right of way agreements, and title curative documents - All phases of review and facilitating of lease maintenance and payment obligations within area of responsibility - Monitor continuous development obligations for leases - Effectively and efficiently manage brokers in the field - Review and cure title deficiencies brought forth within title opinions or personal title examination - May perform A&D duties as necessary - Manage due dilig...
