Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Storage Engineer to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities: - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise storage systems across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments (SAN, NAS, virtualized storage). - Provision storage, manage zoning and LUNs, configure replication/sync, and schedule snapshots to meet RTO/RPO requirements. - Apply firmware updates, capacity adjustments, performance tuning, and monitor storage health/alerts to identify and remediate degradations or bottlenecks. - Execute backup and recovery workflows: validate schedules, perform test restores, and manage retention and protection configurations. - Maintain configuration records, asset inventories, change logs, and documentation in alignment with DoD/Army/RMF compliance. - Collaborate with server, virtualization, backup, and cybersecurity teams to resolve incidents, support patching cycles, and validate data protection. - Support cloud‑hosted storage lifecycle activities, optimize performance, and document operational changes for sustainment. - Update SOPs, runbooks, topology diagrams, and s...
