Facility: Behavioral Health Center - Dayton 1st Street Department: Mental Health Outpatient Therapy Services Schedule: Full time Hours: 40 Job Details: The Behavioral Health Therapist (BHT) will work out of the Montgomery County Juvenile Court and provide behavioral health services including diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, individual, and group therapy as needed. Responsible for collaborating with patients and families in developing an individualized treatment plan that will specifically address identified areas of concern. Responsible for collaborating with the Montgomery County Juvenile Court and other community partners to provide services and link court-involved youth with mental health care. Responsible for assisting patients and their families in understanding ways to effectively manage symptoms and behaviors attributed to the identified behavioral health diagnosis (es). Assists families in effectively addressing complex personal and environmental difficulties which interfere with effective social functioning.
