R&D Engineer Hardware & Software (m/f/d)

Job description

- Design, develop and implement software test solutions for diagnosis, calibration and verification of high-precision measurement devices. - Collaborate with hardware, software and maintenance teams to ensure seamless interchange of knowledge and experience for hard- and software - Analyze the test outcome with statistical methods to improve the results and ensure the reliability for our customers and manufacturers - Describe the functionality in a support documentation - Support our customers, service staff and manufacturers in case of difficult maintenance situations to ensure the best possible support Qualifications: - Bachelor / Master’s degree in electrical or software engineering or equivalent - Good experience in C++ programming and object-oriented concepts - Good communication skills and team player - A passion for precision and quality, with a proactive attitude towards finding and implementing solutions. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Familiar with statistical methods e.g. cpk, cp - Good written and spoken German / English knowledge - Self-organized
