Description What You’ll Do: Join our expert team as a Part-Time P-8 Pilot, supporting the NAVAIR PMA-290 program office. In this role, you will play a key part in P-8A Software Integration and Test, helping ensure mission systems are fully validated and ready to support fleet operations. This position will be based in the Seattle, WA area. Key Responsibilities: This description outlines the general nature and scope of the role. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. - Provide PMA-290 (P-8A) with analysis and engineering support for software and hardware integration and test, along with incorporation into the MPRA P-8A Naval Aviation Technical Information Products (NATIP) and Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) manuals. - Provide recommendations to PMA-290 IPTs regarding the integration and test of the newest version of software to conduct ASW, AAS, and ISR missions. - Develop flight deck-related test plans and procedures. - Provide inputs to the PMA-290 leadership regarding integration and testing of flight management system and related hardware and software. - Summarize results of analysis and investigation, when required, in the form of w...
