Serves as a resource and support for other members of the team exercising discretion and independent judgment in the utilization and management of a variety of internal and external databases and systems. This includes: the collection of clinical and non-clinical data in order to perform analysis in support of performance process improvement initiatives; gathering data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness; and evaluating patient care data to ensure care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. This role will participate in and provide support for the following areas: Regulatory Compliance, Accreditation and Certification Initiatives, Performance Improvement (PI), Patient Safety, and Quality Initiatives, and will serve as a resource and facilitator for organizational committees and teams.
