JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Kitchen Manager (AKM) supports the Kitchen Manager in overseeing back-of-house operations, driving excellence in areas such as staffing, food safety, inventory management, par levels, and overall plate presentation. The AKM is expected to work 45-50 hours per week, with a schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To assist in ensuring the highest quality of food execution and providing an exceptional guest experience through food preparation and presentation. MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS: OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE – KITCHEN Maintain the highest standards of safety, security, and health within the kitchen by adhering to all Brand standards and procedures. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitary regulations. Communicate new menu rollouts, ingredients, and plate presentations according to Brand standards. Support and ensure proper mise en place (prep) is completed in a timely manner to guarantee smooth AM/PM service.
