SALARY: $25.02 - $31.27 JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, coordinates crew activities on a daily basis to complete assigned work orders and acts as lead in the repair, replacement, or adjustment of meters. Provides maintenance services on automated meter infrastructure to include the diagnosis of issues, repair, or replacement of automated meter infrastructure (AMI) infrastructure. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Lead crew in repairing, replacing, or adjusting small to medium size meters (5/8 X ¾”" to 2" in size) and assisting the Meter Services Crew Chief in tasks related to large meters. - Perform meter accuracy testing, pressure/flow testing, installation, or replacement of meter vaults. - Conduct preventative maintenance services and aged meter replacements as scheduled. - Investigate service connection problems and resolves customer complaints. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: - Perform chlorine residual testing, re-size service connections and assist Meter Reading in facilitating safe access to metering sites. - Assist other meter service workers with more difficult tasks, as needed or directed. - Performs emergency repairs and preventative services on all water and wastewater infrastru...
