SPC Training Analyst Job Summary: - This position is responsible for developing, delivering, assessing, and coordinating technical training for Operations and Maintenance technicians supporting Southern Power’s solar, wind, gas, and battery storage facilities across the United States. - The role is based primarily at a Southern Power generation facility and works as part of a technical training team focused on maximizing technician capability while minimizing impact to plant operations. Training is delivered through a combination of in-person and virtual methods and may include the use of simulators, hands-on equipment, and other instructional technologies. - Southern Power and its subsidiaries, some of which are owned in part with various partners, own or operate 55 facilities operating or under development in 15 states with more than 13,150 MW of generating capacity in Alabama, California, Delaware, Georgia, Kansas, Maine, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming. - The individual in this role supports these assets by ensuring technicians are equipped to safely and effectively meet evolving operational and technologi...
