Job description

Provides emergency and non‑emergency treatment and transportation in the pre-hospital and inter-hospital environments at the advanced life support level. Works with a variety of people and organizations on a professional level to provide care to patients and the community. Essential Functions: Provides pre-hospital, emergency patient care within the scope of practice of an EMT-Paramedic within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Accurately completes all patient care documentation adequately according to DOH and department guidelines and requirements within a twenty-four hour timeframe. Operates emergency vehicles with the Pennsylvania laws governing the operation of such vehicles. Performs routine inspections as required, inventory, and maintenance of all patient care equipment. Performs station duties as needed and assigned. Maintains familiarity with, and follows all rules of the hospital’s policies and procedures as outlined in the administrative and department policy and procedure manuals.
