Job description

The Press Cell Operator will serve our Water Heating Division, located in Montgomery, AL. - Must be able to properly use tools and equipment (including but not limited to die cart, control panel, Quick Die Changeover tooling and molding changeovers) to set-up, remove, and set dies in power presses and transfer dies to and from the die rack. - Must be able to follow written work instructions to ensure the proper parameters are entered during die set-up. - Must be able to operate any power driven press, located within the department, to punch, trim, and form or perform other shaping or fabricating operations on metal weighing in excess of 25 pounds by subjecting the metal to pressure between dies or punches. - Must record part dimensional data into DAS computer based system or on the proper CF form. - Must be able to use various measurement tools, too conduct a First Part Approval (FPA) on the output part to ensure that the part meets the design specification or deviation limits. This will include but is not limited to vernier caliper, height gage, go-no gage, tape measure. - Must be able to make adjustments to molding if needed. - Responsible for monitoring die equipment for proper...
