Mechanical Engineer II As a Mechanical Engineer III you will perform engineering tasks under minimal guidance that are varied and complex which require troubleshooting and interpretation of data, development of new test methods or procedures and are used for a variety of situations. Plans, executes, and organizes detailed design development as part of major projects of significant scope. You will do this by: - Conducts and/or specifies complex tests using advanced techniques to resolve customer concerns/problems; prepares technical reports based on results - Applies advanced computer-aided engineering analysis techniques to resolve customer concerns/problems - Adheres to new product development processes as it relates to concept analysis, business case, product development, pre-production and post launch steps; recommends methods of manufacture during the design of new products and design modifications or process changes based on cost/design studies - Modifies analysis techniques when necessary to solve more complex problems - Evaluates product failures using advanced engineering techniques - Compiles and analyzes test results; formulates conclusions and makes appropriate recommend...
