Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is currently looking for talented Project Engineers to join our Project Management Department in Charlotte, NC. This is a great opportunity to get involved in interesting and challenging design projects for clients in various industries predominantly in the power generation, process, energy, and chemical industries. - Support the Project Manager in planning and organizing assigned aspects of a project, directing the complete technical operations of the project. - Implement assignments and activities delegated from the Project Manager. - Assist in developing cost estimates for additional work or contract modifications. - Coordinate discipline engineering activities for development of engineered deliverables. - Assist discipline leads to coordinate engineering and design efforts, activities, and deliverables from overseas high value engineering (HVE) office. - Review engineered drawings for consistency with work scope and adequately address input from disciplines. - Review reports to ensure consistency with contractual requirements. - Facilitate Zachry Group’s quality control procedure for deliverable generation, archiving, and distribution/transm...
