***Applicant with IR and/or coordination experience (around drain management) is strongly preferred*** The Nurse Program Coordinator coordinates activities and functions of a designated program to ensure that goals and objectives specified to the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations or other specifications. This job is intended for positions with incumbents that have responsibility for a particular program. A program provides a specific service or carries out specific activities as a component program within a department. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: Current RN licensure in Virginia AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience with at least one (1) year in a progressive leadership or supervisory role Experience PREFERRED: Previous experience in staff education and professional development (orientation, preceptor ship, in-services education, etc.) Previous experience in an academic health...
