Description The Department of Psychology at University of New Haven invites applications for a Lecturer position beginning January 2024. Review of applications will start immediately and continue until the position is filled. The successful applicant for this position will teach core undergraduate courses such as Forensic Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods as well as upper-level courses in Forensic/Legal Psychology. An earned PhD degree in Psychology with a specialization in forensic, correctional, police, or legal psychology is strongly recommended (ABD will be considered). The successful candidate must be a dynamic instructor and able to teach using face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities. Advising undergraduate students is also expected. Experience in leading thesis or research projects is beneficial. A commitment to serving culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse communities is expected. The department of psychology is one of the largest departments at the University, with a large and diverse faculty and student body.
