Engineer IV Process

Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is searching for a Process Engineer IV to work out of our Houston Westchase Design Center. The Process Engineer will perform routine engineering and design tasks of the process area of assigned projects based on specific and detailed instructions as to the required tasks, results expected, specific assignment objectives, ‎complex features, ‎and possible solutions. Process Engineer will independently evaluate, ‎select, ‎and apply standard engineering techniques, ‎procedures, and criteria, ‎using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. - Responsible for developing process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID). - Responsible for sizing and rating various equipment like pumps, horizontal and vertical vessels, heat exchangers, and air coolers. - Responsible for performing hydraulic analysis and calculations for piping systems. Experience to include evaluating systems involving single phase, two phase, slurries, water hammer, slug flow, and distribution networks.
