Job description

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Overall Purpose: Responsible for supporting strategic communications and stakeholder engagement to advance the organization’s public policy objectives. This role reports to the Legislative Director and provides day-to-day support for special legislative projects, including researching, tracking, and summarizing legislation and related policy issues. The position also supports the Regional President in her duties and handles additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: Legislative Research, Policy Support, and Advocacy: Analyzing legislation and regulatory issues. Researching, tracking, and summarizing legislation and related policy matters. Advocating for the company’s regulatory agenda during public hearings and meetings with state legislators and staff.
