This is specialized work under the direction of the Health Educator Consultant. This position is responsible for the day-to-day clerical operations of a WIC site. It requires a high degree of accuracy, involves close interactions with other personnel of the CHD, and maintenance of confidentiality. Responsible for the supervision of staff Including appraisals, planning and directing their work, approving leave, having the authority for hiring, and taking disciplinary action or effectively recommending such actions. Travel to all sites may be involved in the performance of duties. This position may serve clients who speak only Spanish, Creole, or other languages.
