Position Summary Technical writing is the interpretation of engineering data and translation of it into expository text aimed toward a specific customer, audience, or persons whose interest is not only scientific, but can be financial and business related as well. Because of the variety of documents (e.g., proposals, periodic reports, plans, brochures, business materials, and other Technical Data Packages, etc.) the TW works closely with the appropriate Engineering Team Lead, and/or other teams as necessary for proper and accurate development of a document. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to: Technical Writing: The task of technical writing requires research, interviewing, writing original content, and, in some cases, a working knowledge of the subject.
