Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT Location: Calgary, AB: Overnight Shift: Calgary North Hospital is welcoming a full-time Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT to join our team. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training! Completion of a Veterinary Technologist/Animal Health Technologist program (RVT eligible or registered) Ability and willingness to work overnight shifts on a full-time basis Strong triage and emergency assessment skills, including prioritization of urgent and critical cases Experience or confidence in patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, catheter placement, and emergency procedures ability to work independently overnight, while maintaining strong communication with DVMs and team members Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills, with appropriate escalation when needed Commitment to accurate and timely medical record documentation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both team members and pet owners during high-stress situations Passion for providing compassionate,...
