Description This position directly supports the Acting Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Department of War (DoW) Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). - Preparing for, capturing notes and due outs, and maintaining a system for tracking congressional engagements - Maintaining awareness of congressional interest areas, geographic location of test range assets mapped to state and congressional district, and stakeholder interests - Maintaining awareness of developments in defense and political news that could have an impact on DoW budget or operations - Assisting in the development of reports and briefs for senior leaders (to include gaining knowledge of the DoW style guide and preparing action memos, congressional correspondence, and coordination sheets) #LI-HK1 Requirements: - 2+ years as a Legislative Liaison at DoW or other Federal Department, in a Congressional office, or in a Congressional Affairs role - Critical thinking skills - Excellent communication, writing, and organization skills - Ability to track progress of many simultaneous projects - Ability to work successfully in a collaborative environment - Current active DoW Secret Clearance or ability to re-activate Desire...
