Job Summary The Wiring Design Release Engineer is a key position responsible for designing and battery pack internal electrical connectivity systems for internal ABS and external customer products. Responsibilities: - Lead harness topology and partitioning. - Package components and collaborate with other systems within the application. - Optimize harness complexity across product lines to leverage standardization & modularity. - Lead coding of all circuits. - Complete electrical connectivity design for a batter system including Wire-list and DEF files for composite harness design, Load analysis. - Review and anticipate voltage drop calculations circuit sizing. - In-line connector pin count determination and circuit protection. - Collaborate with Systems Engineers and BMS Hardware Engineers to ensure all internal and customer-specific requirements are met. - Track and report on program progress to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner. - Support pre-launch builds as well as product launches. - Other duties as assigned. - Predictable and reliable attendance. - Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures. - Adhere to federal and state regulations. - Performs oth...
