Automation & Controls Technician Department: Assembly, Integration & Test: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Redondo Beach: Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 / hour Description: As an Automation & Controls Technician at Impulse , you will support the installation, modification, and maintenance of industrial machinery, production equipment, and test systems. This role is hands-on and focused on electrical wiring, controls hardware, and electrical troubleshooting, working closely with engineers and specialists. Responsibilities: - Install and modify industrial controls hardware in accordance with NFPA 70 and NFPA 7 - Wire and rework control panels following UL 508A practices and company standards - Assist with maintaining the electrical shop, tools, consumables, and controls hardware inventory - Configure and set up industrial controls hardware - Support troubleshooting of electrical and controls-related issues on machines and test equipment - Review electrical drawings and mark up redlines as needed - Provide practical build and wiring feedback to engineering teams - Use EPlan to view schematics, generate reports, and support manufacturing documentation - Document work performed and...
