Department: Transportation: Shift/schedule: Contingent (As Needed) GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of Manager of Transportation. The Courier's primary job function is to transport mail, materials, linen, and Pharmacy medications throughout all facilities of SOMC and other locations as designated including patient addresses. Performs other duties as assigned. Education: Licensure: Experience: - High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required - BMVL required (Must maintain eligibility to drive as determined by SOMC insurance carriers) - Previous experience in driving delivery vehicles preferred.
