Deaconess Cardiology is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner with Cardiology experience to join the Henderson Cardiology department. Job Duties: Candidates should be licensed in the State of Indiana and Kentucky and certified by the AANP as a Nurse Practitioner or certified by the NCCPA as a Physician Assistant. - Split duties between inpatient and outpatient - Provide consultation and care for hospital patients as cardiac consults orders are placed, including pre and post-procedural care associated with cardiology needs - Assist during procedures as requested by physician and complete post-procedure discharges. - Completing H&Ps as needed, completing patient education prior to procedure, ensuring consent is obtained and in the chart, assessments post procedure, placement of post procedure orders, patient rounding/discharge, working up any acute patients who have been admitted to the hospital - Engage in shared decision-making processes with a focus on patient-centered care, as outlined in the latest ACC guidelines - Manage part time outpatient schedule to see hospital discharge and follow up patients as outlined in the regist...
