Responsibilities: The Monitor Technician is responsible for the on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RN's and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: - High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education. - Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED: - Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy/physiology and medical terminology. - Previous health care experience. Work Hours: 7am-7:30pm Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis On-Call Requirements: No
