Job description

OVERVIEW: The I&C Programmer II is responsible for utilizing and programing PLC control systems, SCADA Systems, and Human Machine Interface software to effectively design and implement instrumentation and control systems for water/wastewater projects. The I&C Programmer II works closely with Project Managers, the project team, and clients to implement solutions. DURING YOUR WORKDAY, YOU WILL: - Utilize and program PLC control systems, SCADA Systems, and Human Machine Interface software to effectively design and implement instrumentation and control systems for water/wastewater projects. - Review specifications and drawings, write control system descriptions, and perform start up and commissioning activities with minimal input from other personnel. - Understand and implement communications systems such as Ethernet based local area networks and wireless radio systems. - Create instrument material take-offs from drawings. - Work closely with Project Managers, project team, and clients to implement solutions.
