Position Overview: Terra is seeking bright and eager Geomatics Mapping Technicians to join the CAD GIS production team t o assist with the processing of aerial remote sensing TL data. Full training will be provided. Candidates should be able to work evening and weekend shifts if needed. Internal applicants are welcome to apply. Responsibilities: Working closely with the Team Lead and reporting to the Supervisor, the successful candidate is responsible for: - Producing CAD drawings using Bentley OpenCities Map, Terrasolid, in-house custom tools, and various data types (lidar, ortho, etc.) Tasks include: - Capturing 3D planimetry in accordance with client provided feature specifications. - Performing breakline extraction and digitizing roads, buildings, roadside features and other features as required. - Processing lidar data, including ground and default classification editing and nois...
