Overview UMIAQ Design is seeking a registered Senior Civil Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of challenging projects throughout both rural and urban Alaska. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients throughout all phases of project development. Responsibilities: Essential functions will include: - Provide civil engineering design for a variety of projects, including urban and rural site development, roadways, water distribution and wastewater collection systems, and landfills. - Prepare design documents (drawings, specifications, permit applications, and cost estimates) across all project phases. - Support the bidding process, including development of bid documents and contractor coordination. - Provide construction administration services and assist with project closeout. - Plan and execute projects to meet high quality standards on time and within project budget. - Collaborate with internal and external design teams across multiple disciplines. - Coord...
