POSITION SUMMARY: Hyperscale and AI infrastructure investment is accelerating, creating a significant growth opportunity for Vertiv across our robust portfolio—power train, thermal chain, and whitespace solutions, including prefabricated and modular system-level offerings. The Director, Strategy & Planning – Hyperscale is critical to ensuring we focus on the right opportunities and convert that focus into executable growth programs. This role drives the front-end “where to play” work: building a fact base on customer capex and demand signals, defining decision criteria, and leading analysis, prioritization, and governance to determine which hyperscale growth programs Vertiv should pursue (and why). Once priorities are set, the role helps translate them into programmatic plans that align the enterprise to win. As hyperscale customers demand speed, scale, and flawless execution, Vertiv must align Technology & Business Development, Global Account Directors, Product Lines, Capacity Planning, Operations, Supply Chain, Pricing, and Industrialization around a single, credible plan.
