Overview At Flanigan’s, we strive to bring together warm, caring, friendly, outgoing people, who find joy in serving others. Our servers play a vital role in every meal – welcoming and guiding, taking orders and serving, and attending to details. Responsibilities: - Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training - Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed - Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly - Accurately write down guests’ orders and enter into POS system, in a timely manner - Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner - Ability to assess guests’ demeanor and identify when to summon a Manager - Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner - Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework - Restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests Qualifications: - Can ph...
